Forum on Sensory Excellence in Food (FoSEF)

Bringing together food scientists, chefs, sensory analysts, public health practitioners, nutritionists, and industry professionals, the forum is dedicated to advancing the understanding of how flavours, fragrances, colours, and seasonings not only help to meet our nutritional needs but significantly enhance the overall eating experience – making it both enjoyable and memorable.

Mission:

The mission of FoSEF is to share knowledge, encourage dialogue, and promote a deeper appreciation for the intricate interplay of taste, aroma, colour, and essence in food, and advocate for their thoughtful inclusion in our diets for a healthier, more sustainable future.

The India Food Systems Fellowship (TIFF)

Developed a new generation of food systems thinkers and leaders.

Built leadership and cross-sectoral capacity for transformation.

Launched in March 2023, The India Food System Fellowship (TIFF) is a 10-month leadership development programme designed to nurture the next generation of professionals shaping India’s food systems. Supported by DSM (India), it combines academic learning, field immersion, and live projects to strengthen understanding of sustainability, nutrition, and public health. From over 230 applicants, 26 fellows were selected for their diverse expertise across food science, agriculture, dietetics, and agri-business.
The programme features a four-week in-person immersion followed by online sessions, mentorship, and project work spread over ten months. Its curriculum explores topics such as sustainable agriculture, food-climate linkages, dietary behaviour, and innovation in food systems. By integrating research, practice, and systems thinking, TIFF equips fellows with the knowledge and leadership skills to design inclusive, resilient, and health-oriented food systems for India’s future.
